CG Smurf Movie Update – Possible Poster?
Well I must say this is a very interesting little find. By the looks of it it’s possibly a poster for the upcoming 3D CG animated smurf movie I blogged about recently. You can read that blog HERE.
According to Ryan Parsons’ recent story in CanMag, this could very well be a scan of the poster.
“Though early in production, our long-time scooper “Wesley – The Dutch Guy” has sent over what looks to be a scan of a sample teaser poster for the film.”
Personally I’m glad to see these little leaks. It makes the whole movie more of a reality. Though I must admit I’m a little concerned about the poor smurf’s expression. The small snippets of plot I managed to find information on suggest that the lead role will be an 8-10 yr old girl, Sophie, who discovers that the “doll” her dad brought home is actually Clumsy smurf. So I guess I am not totally surprised about that expression on the smurf’s face. I’ve seen what 8-10 yr olds do to dolls and I’d be pretty scared too.
